Vashu J. Ramsinghani, Managing Director, with extensive experience in manufacturing of more the 50 years, is responsible for setting up large scale industries producing petrochemicals, fertilisers and paper. He is also the leading man behind India’s largest private waste paper newsprint mill, Rama Newsprint and Papers Limited, located in Gujarat. He is also responsible for establishing R.C Fertilisers, a large fertiliser manufacturing company in located in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Amit V. Ramsinghani, Executive Director, handles day to day operations of the company since inception in 2005. He has a B.S.B.A. degree from Babson College, Boston, USA. He has been instrumental in strategically entering new markets, developing new superior products, and winning several large global and Indian tenders.

A quality manufacturer of CNG, industrial, fire fighting cylinders and cascades of numerous capacities, Rama Cylinders is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified company with two plants in Gujarat. The first plant is located in Bhimasar, Gandhidham and the second one in SEZ, Kandla. With state-of-the-art facilities, both the plants are well-equipped with a combined capacity of manufacturing 6,00,000 high-pressure seamless steel gas cylinders yearly.

The cylinders are manufactured with maximum safety measures in compliance with the Indian standards (IS:7285 Part 2, IS 15490) set by statutory authorities like Petroleum & Explosives Safety Organization and Bureau of Indian Standards with an ISI mark. Rama Cylinders also manufactures as per international manufacturing standards like ISO 11439, NZS 5454, ISO 9809-1 – PED 97/23/EC (CE-Marking) & 2010/35/EU TPED (Pi-Marking) DOT3AA & ECE R110 along with certification.

Rama Cylinders regularly exporting cylinders to North & South America, Europe, Africa & Middle East countries. We are also supplying to domestic OEMs such as Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, Volvo Eicher, Gail, IGL, HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, LINDE, INOX, Praxair etc. along with regional retro-fitment sector in India.

We are manufacturing cylinders from 1.5Ltr to 200 Liters and CNG/ Bio CNG Cascades from 300 Liters to 4500 Liters or as per our customer’s specific requirements in single bank and three bank system.

Mr. Vashu J. Ramsinghani and his son Mr. Amit V. Ramsinghani.

Rama Cylinders Pvt. Ltd. has established manufacturing facilities for the production of high pressure seamless steel cylinders and allied products such as vessels, accumulators, tanks and pipes, etc. with installed capacity of 3,00,000 nos per annum at Unit 1 and 1,80,000 nos per annum at Unit 2.

Mr. Vashu J. Ramsinghani has considerable experience in the field of trading of industrial commodities and has set up large industries in the field of petrochemicals, fertilisers and paper. 

India’s largest private sector, waste paper based newsprint mill viz. Rama Newsprint & Papers Ltd. ( www.ramanewsprint.com ) was also set up by him in Gujarat. Also R C Fertilisers Pvt. Ltd. ( www.ramanewsprint.com ) a fertiliser manufacturing company situated at village Lakhampur, Taluka-Dindori, District – Nashik in Maharashtra was set up by him.

Mr. Amit V. Ramsinghani, son of Mr. Vashu J. Ramsinghani has acquired a Bachelors degree in the Business Administration from the prestigious Babson College in Boston U.S.A. specializing in finance and economics. He subsequently completed his training in the U.S.A. and the Middle East and has returned back to India. He is keenly involved in the day to day operations.

Rama Cylinders is a quality manufacturer of CNG, industrial, fire fighting cylinders and cascades of various capacities. Rama Cylinders is an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 certified company having two plants in Gujarat. The first is located at Bhimasar-Gandhidham & the second plant is at SEZ-Kandla.

The plants are of world-class standard and have a current installed capacity of manufacturing 4,80,000 high pressure seamless steel gas cylinders per annum.

The technology applied to produce the cylinders is hot spinning of seamless steel pipes by Computerized Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines for closing both ends and subsequently followed by other finishing processes.

The cylinders are manufactured as per IS 7285 (Part 1 & part 2), IS : 15490 in compliance with the norms of statutory authorities like Chief Controller Of Explosives (CCOE) & Bureau Of Indian Standards (BIS) with “[ISI]” mark in India. Rama Cylinders also manufactures as per international manufacturing standards like ISO 11439, NZ S 5454, ISO 9809-1, EN 1964-1 & ECE R110 (with  /  markings certification). Also Pi l CE marking showing compliance with TPED/PED.

The company is member of Fire Protection Association of India (FPAI), Gas Manufacturer’s Society (GMS), All India Industrial Gas Manufacturers Association (AIIGMA), Natural Gas Vehicle Association of India (NGVAI) & ASIAN NGV Association (ANGVA).

Rama Cylinders is regularly exporting cylinders to countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, Russia, Malaysia, Armenia and Algeria.It is also supplying to domestic automobile OEMs such as Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Force Motors, Bajaj Auto, JCBL Ltd., Hindustan Motors Ltd., TVS Motors apart from local retrofitment sector in India.

Rama Cylinders also supplies CNG storage cascades ranging from 1000 ltrs to 4500 ltrs or as per specific requirement of customers in single bank or three bank system.
