Everyday Use｜The Sands of Time: A Surreal Hourglass World｜ Other Products

A captivating and highly symbolic surrealist digital artwork exploring the passage of time. The focal point is a massive, vintage brass hourglass set within a barren desert landscape. Inside the upper glass bulb, a vibrant, lush green forest thrives complete with rolling clouds, a soaring bird, and a majestic waterfall. This life-filled oasis crumbles and flows downward through the narrow neck, turning into golden desert sand that accumulates into desolate dunes and rocky spires in the bottom bulb. Surrounding the hourglass, several melting pocket watches hang from invisible threads in the sky or drape over dead tree branches and rock formations, heavily inspired by classical surrealism. The entire scene is bathed in the warm, dramatic light of a setting or rising sun breaking through a cloudy sky.
